Sanabria, a former employee of the Beaumont group home for boys, has a lengthy history of possessing child pornography and was convicted for those crimes, according to Riverside County Superior Court records.

He was first arrested and later convicted in 2022 for inappropriate contact with group home clients and possession of sexually explicit materials involving children. He was rearrested at his home in Perris in November 2023, on suspicion of sending harmful matter to minors, and was convicted of those crimes, according to Riverside County Superior Court records. Those charges were later dismissed on Nov. 20, 2024, after he served 364 days in county jail. He was sentenced to two years' probation, which was to expire in November 2026, and remained on probation at the time of his most recent arrest, according to Sgt. Jim Peters.

"In May 2025, SVU reopened the investigation into Sanabria after receiving new allegations from two additional juveniles. Investigators learned the two juveniles were victims of inappropriate contact at the group home before Sanabria's arrest," Peters reported.

"Since Sanabria was on felony probation for the prior convictions, members of the Riverside County Probation Department were requested to assist with the investigation," he said. "This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information will be released at this time."

The Riverside County Sheriff's Special Victims Unit believes there may be additional victims and encourages anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact Master Investigator J. Andrade at 951-955-1701 or Riverside Sheriff's Dispatch at 951-776-1099.
