BEAUMONT, CA — Heads up, Beaumont motorists: another closure is planned this week near the Oak Valley Parkway and Interstate 10 area. City officials say that both the eastbound and westbound off-ramps from the freeway to the corridor will be closed from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The closure is necessary so that crews can install permanent lane striping, according to the city.

The good news is that the Oak Valley Signalization Project is nearly over, though.

"Following the closure, signals will be set to a temporary flash setting while final safety railings are installed at which time the signals will become fully functional," the city of Beaumont said.

Residents with questions regarding the project can call the Beaumont Public Works Department at (951) 769-8522.
