Gas Prices Drop Again After Weeklong Surge

Second consecutive day of decrease in the Inland Empire.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.587, the second consecutive decrease after rising six times in seven days.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2 cents more than one week ago, but 8.7 cents less than one month ago and 14.2 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price dropped one-tenth of a cent on Saturday.
