Gas Prices Near Banning, Beaumont Drop For 18th Consecutive Day

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Friday for the 18th consecutive day and 31st time in the last 32 days, decreasing 1.8 cents to $3.819, its lowest amount since April 8.
The average price has dropped 23.8 cents over the past 32 days, including 1.1 cents on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 7.4 cents less than one week ago and 23.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 12.5 cents higher than one year ago.

"Oil prices are dropping due to a surge in stockpiles and worries that worldwide demand will decline because of the trade dispute between the U.S. and China, and that is helping to drive down fuel prices around the country," said Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
