What school is your graduating student graduating from?

Banning High School

How do you know your graduating student nominee?

My son

Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!

He started off his freshman not able to go to actual school; due to Covid, he did online. He did well online. Then, his sophomore year, he started HS. I don't know what it was, but he struggled and fell behind. In his Junior year, he did better but still had some struggles. Now he is in his senior year and even though the school has tried to send him to an alternate school to get his credits up.

Me and his father said no because we knew he could do it. He is a smart kid. He very shy and doesn't like to ask people for help. So he stayed in Banning High and has worked this year so hard to do his credit recovery along with keeping his current grades up also and has been doing a great job at it. Despite the bumps in the road, he has made me and his family proud to know he did it and will be walking the stage.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

He is so smart when he puts his mind to it. He can do anything.
