Historic RivCo Inn Closes Due To Water Issue

The Historic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in downtown Riverside has been temporarily forced to shut down.

RIVERSIDE, CA — The Historic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa announced Wednesday that it will close temporarily amid a water issue, the hotel stated on its Facebook page.

The luxurious, decades-old Inn said an "unforeseen" issue with its boiler system requires immediate attention. The hotel is expected to reopen on Friday.

“It is an older hotel and no matter how rigorous maintenance is, these things are bound to happen,” Janice Penner, executive director of the Riverside Downtown Partnership, told The Press Enterprise.
