After serving a search warrant at his home, KTLA reported that police found 1,312 "Child Sexual Abuse Material" images on Montoya's social media and messaging accounts.

Although the tip initially traced to Montoya's neighbors, they were cleared of suspicion after it was determined that their WiFi was being used illegally, KTLA reported.
