INLAND EMPIRE, CA -- An Inland Empire teacher was arrested for allegedly taking inappropriate photos of several female students, authorities said Saturday. John Martin Sheldon, 27, of Helendale, is accused of annoying or molesting a child under 18 and invasion of privacy, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's officials said Sheldon, a teacher at Riverside Preparatory Middle School in Oro Grande, was arrested Friday after a student saw him take a photo or video of a student under a classroom desk.
An investigation involving interviews with several minors showed a similar incident happened in February, officials said.
