From the Living Desert: Patti & Jack Grundhofer and Joann McGrath To Be Presenting Sponsors
The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens is pleased to announce Patti & Jack Grundhofer and Joann McGrath as presenting sponsors of its 24th annual Zoobilee Gala. Tickets are now available for the Cheetah Nights themed event to be held at The Living Desert on Sunday, March 4, 2017, from 5 to 9 p.m. Zoobilee Gala attendees will be treated to a chic cheetah-themed evening at The Living Desert, complete with unique experiences such as up-close animal encounters.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a festive cocktail reception and silent auction on the Palm Garden Patio, followed by entertainment, dinner and a live auction all held on zoo grounds in a glamorously decorated event tent. The program, emceed by Ginger Jeffries, includes a special ‘Raise-the-Paw’ effort to support the excellent care and well-being of The Living Desert’s animals, as well as the education and conservation programs the zoo and gardens provide.

“Each season we look forward to our Zoobilee Gala and we are excited to be paying tribute to the
cheetah, an amazing animal that we have been celebrating throughout the year, raising awareness of
their plight, as there are fewer than 10,000 left in the world,” said Allen Monroe, President/CEO of The
Living Desert. “We are thankful for the Grundhofers and Ms. McGrath for their generous contributions
as our gala’s presenting sponsors.”
