Teen Shot Dead Outside RivCo Mall
Despite lifesaving measures, the 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
MORENO VALLEY, CA — A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Tuesday night at a business in Moreno Valley, authorities said.
Deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station were dispatched at 7:38 p.m. to a business in the 22000 block of Town Circle following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, deputies found a teenage male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Despite lifesaving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. No arrests have been made, and investigators are working to identify the suspect or suspects involved, authorities said.
Because the investigation is ongoing, the victim’s identity has not been released. No additional information was immediately available.
