Lottery Ticket Worth Nearly $4 Million Sold In Inland Empire

The ticket matched every number except for the 5+ Powerball: 1, 4, 12, 36 and 49.

INLAND EMPIRE, CA — Someone was sold a Powerball lottery ticket at an Inland Empire gas station worth nearly $4 million, California Lottery officials announced after Monday night's drawing.

The winning ticket worth $3,987,249 before taxes was sold at an Arco ampm station in Fontana, 16120 Slover Ave., according to lottery officials.

The ticket matched every number except for the 5+ Powerball: 1, 4, 12, 36 and 49.

No one won Monday's $613 million Powerball jackpot. The odds of hitting that big one was 1 in 292,201,338, according to lottery officials.

The next drawing — for a $653 Powerball jackpot — is 8 p.m. Wednesday.

In November, a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at an Ontario food mart.
