Major Retailer, Grocery Slated For Beaumont's Oak Valley Village Shopping Center
Target in the Oak Valley Village Shopping Center is slated to open in 2027 bringing with it a major grocery store, shops and more.

BEAUMONT, CA — A new 28-acre retail shopping destination will open in the second half of 2027, including a long-awaited retail giant, the city of Beaumont announced Tuesday. That shopping center, to be named the Oak Valley Village, will be anchored by Target and promises to draw additional tenants, including a Sprouts Farmers Market, according to Mayor Mike Lara. He spoke on the addition and what it means to Beaumont families in a recent news release.
“We are thrilled to welcome Target to the City of Beaumont,” Lara said. “Our community has been asking for this store for quite some time. Target will not only offer great value to our residents but also generate jobs and support Beaumont’s continued growth.”
This is the result of years of planning, according to City Manager Elizabeth Gibbs.

“Bringing Target to Beaumont has been many years in the making, and it wouldn’t be possible without the continued vision and support of our City Council and the relationship built with Regency Centers,” said City Manager Elizabeth Gibbs. “Keeping our dollars local while welcoming shoppers from surrounding cities will position Beaumont as the newest regional retail destination.”

The new Target will offer a full range of products, including groceries, clothing, electronics, and home essentials, making everyday shopping easier and more accessible for Beaumont families.

"This project is a key milestone in Beaumont’s ongoing economic development efforts," Mayor Lara said.
Beyond the convenience and the variety that Target brings, the new retail development is expected to generate significant local sales tax revenue, which will help fund core city services such as public safety, infrastructure improvements, and parks and recreation programs.
More details about future retail, grand openings, and hiring opportunities will be shared as the project progresses.
Expect to hear more about the new shopping center and the long-awaited Target shopping center at Oak Valley Village at the Beaumont State of the City presentation on Sept. 10, streamed live below from 6 to 7 p.m.
