Missing RivCo Senior Prompts Silver Alert

MORENO VALLEY, CA — Authorities asked the public to be on the lookout for an older adult man who went missing in Riverside County on Tuesday.

Carlos Dominguez Capote, 68, was last seen around 4 a.m. in the area of Hubbard Street and Skyland Drive in Moreno Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.

Capote is described as having gray hair, brown eyes and wearing a green jacket, a gray and white shirt and blue jeans. He weighs 175 pounds and stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall.

Capote is believed to be at-risk and on foot, the CHP said. Anyone who spots him is urged to call 9-1-1.

The CHP has activated a Silver Alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Silver Alerts are issued for missing seniors, who suffer from health complications or are otherwise considered at-risk.
