More Than 5,000 Images Of Child Sexual Abuse Found In Redlands: Cops
The images were found during a law enforcement search Friday at the South Center Street home of 23-year-old Rylan Meier.

REDLANDS, CA — The Redlands Police Department announced Monday it arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with an investigation into child pornography.
Rylan Meier of Redlands was taken into custody Friday at his home in the 100 block of South Center Street. According to police, he was in possession of more than 5,000 images depicting "child sexual abuse."
Last month, the police department received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children that an adult male had been communicating with an underage girl on social media in an effort to have a sexual encounter with her, according to Redlands police.

A search warrant was served on Meier’s residence and investigators found electronic images of child sexual abuse stored in his online accounts, police said.
