Morongo Accepting Applications For Community Outreach Awards
Selected organizations can receive up to $5,000 in funding.
The following is a Jan. 23, 2024, news release from the Morongo Band of Mission Indians:
MORONGO INDIAN RESERVATION – The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is currently accepting applications for its 2024 Community Outreach Awards Program, which will grant up to $5,000 in support for selected community organizations.
Organizations must apply by February 5, 2024, and award recipients will be announced in April.

Over the last two years, Morongo’s Community Outreach Awards distributed nearly $400,000 to 138 deserving organizations across Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Morongo’s Community Outreach Awards Program aligns with the tribe’s ongoing efforts to help non-profit groups across the Inland Empire. Over the past decade, the tribe has contributed more than $15 million to support communities and nonprofits across Southern California.
