Motorcyclist Dies At Hospital Following Banning Crash

The motorcyclist died following the crash that was reported over the weekend at 8th and Hays streets.

BANNING, CA — A motorcyclist who crashed over the weekend in Banning has died, authorities confirmed.

The man, whose identity was not released, died Saturday night at a local hospital following the crash that was reported just before 6 p.m. that evening at 8th and Hays streets, according to the Banning Police Department.

When Banning police arrived at the crash scene, they found the injured motorcyclist down in the road. He was hospitalized, but just after 10:30 p.m. Banning police received a call from the coroner advising that the motorcyclist had died, according to Banning PD.

It's not clear whether any other vehicles were involved. The Banning Police Department is asking anyone who may have additional information regarding the incident to contact the Banning Police Department at 951-922-3170.
