Motorcyclist Hospitalized In Gilman Springs Road Crash
The rider crashed Wednesday on the busy corridor, notorious for wrecks.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — A motorcyclist was hospitalized Wednesday with moderate injuries in a crash along Gilman Springs Road, the California Highway Patrol says.
CHP Officer Darren Meyer says the wreck occurred around 9:43 a.m. roughly two miles south of Alessandro Boulevard, in between the Moreno Valley and San Jacinto areas.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was eastbound on Gilman Springs when lost control of a white Yamaha R3, which ejected him onto the middle of the road, according to the CHP.

Traffic in both directions was temporarily brought to a standstill, according to reports from the scene.
Good Samaritans stopped and attempted to help the motorcyclist, according to City News Service.

The person was eventually taken to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, Meyer said.
