Motorist Killed After Crashing Into Tree ID'd As Moreno Valley Man
The crash was reported at about 3:18 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Dracaea Avenue and Indian Street in Moreno Valley.
MORENO VALLEY, CA — A motorist who crashed into a tree Monday afternoon in Moreno Valley and died at the scene was identified Tuesday as a local man.
Ismael Maldonado, 37, of Moreno Valley was pronounced dead about 40 minutes after the 3:18 p.m. crash at the intersection of Dracaea Avenue and Indian Street, the coroner reported. He was the solo occupant of the vehicle, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
The crash cause is still under investigation. It is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision, the sheriff's office said.
