MoVal House Fire Displaces 6

MORENO VALLEY, CA — A fire that tore through a home in Moreno Valley Thursday morning displaced six adults.

Firefighters responded about 12:25 a.m. to the 12000 block of Kitching Street, near Elder Avenue, and found about half the 2,500-square-foot home engulfed in flames, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The department reported about 1:25 a.m. the fire had been contained and the Red Cross was called to help six adults displaced by the fire.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
