Multi-Agency DUI Task Force Crackdown Across Riverside County Dec. 13 to Jan. 1

Law enforcement agencies across Riverside County are planning a coordinated campaign to crack down on impaired drivers from Dec. 13 through Jan. 1, a Riverside police sergeant announced Thursday.

Checkpoints and saturation patrols are planned this weekend in Beaumont, Banning, Indian Wells, Palm Springs, Hemet and other locations, Sgt. Skip Showalter said on behalf of the Avoid the 30 DUI Task Force.

"Every law enforcement agency in Riverside County is prepared to stop and arrest any impaired driver to keep roads safe," Showalter said.
