One Dead In Riverside Freeway Collision

RIVERSIDE, CA — Authorities are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that killed one person in Riverside.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol were called at 11:29 p.m. Friday to the southbound Barstow (215) Freeway and University Avenue where a black sedan collided with a semi trailer, according to the CHP.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
