Pedestrian Struck, Killed On 60 Freeway In Moreno Valley
All westbound lanes were expected to remain closed until at least 1 p.m. Tuesday.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday on state Route 60 in Moreno Valley, authorities confirmed.
The victim, whose identity was not released, was hit at approximately 10:59 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway at Pigeon Pass Road, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The pedestrian died at the scene.

It's not immediately clear why the victim was on the freeway.
A SigAlert was issued just after 11 a.m. for all westbound lanes, which were expected to remain closed until at least 1 p.m.
