Two Hospitalized In Interstate 10 Crash In Banning
The crash on Tuesday afternoon caused some delays in the area.
UPDATE 3:30 p.m.: Riverside County fire officials tell Patch that two people were transported in the Banning crash on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the fire department, initial calls indicated that people were trapped in the vehicle, but by the time paramedics got to the scene, they had freed themselves. The extent of their injuries was unknown.
What's more, though preliminary CHP reports indicated that multiple vehicles may have been involved in the crash, but it now appears only one SUV crashed.

BANNING, CA — An ambulance was en route Tuesday to the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Banning, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The wreck was first reported around 3 p.m. on the westbound side of the the freeway, near 8th Street. Preliminary reports indicate a person was lying on the shoulder of the roadway after possibly being ejected.
At least two vehicles were involved in the collision, including an SUV. One of them ended up crashed into the center divider of the interstate, CHP reports showed.
Traffic reports indicated major delays in the area as a result.
