Pit Bull Befriends Firefighters At Line Fire Command Post

Cal Fire crews took in a pit bull they found wandering around a Beaumont command post, and he may be looking for a new forever home.

BEAUMONT, CA — A friendly pit bull who dazzled crews working out of a Line Fire command post could soon be available for adoption if no one comes forward to claim him.

Cal Fire's San Bernardino Unit shared photos on social media of a "handsome boi" they noticed wandering around their Beaumont station for a few days. It didn't take long for him to become a sensation.

"This dog is a gentle love bug and providing kisses and snuggles is his MO," Cal Fire said. "He's not food motivated, not a big fetcher, really more of a walk around and check things out kind of a dude as his golden coat glistens in the sun."
