Police Chase Ends At Cabazon Gas Station, 4 Arrested
Sheriff's officials say four men led authorities on a pursuit on Interstate 10 before they were caught.

CABAZON, CA — Four men were behind bars Wednesday, accused of stealing from a business in the Coachella Valley and then leading authorities on a chase into the Pass Area.
According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Joe Ruiz, it started around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday when deputies out of the Palm Desert station spotted a vehicle they believed was tied to a local theft. The incident had occurred at a store in the 72200 block of Highway 111.
"The suspects entered the store and stole multiple cellular phones," Ruiz said in a news release. "The suspects fled the area in a vehicle and were located by deputies."

The pursuit went west on Interstate 10 before ending at a Shell gas station in Cabazon and all four suspects were taken into custody, according to Ruiz and jail records.
The suspects were identified as Damarak Knight, 19, of Rialto, Malachai Cash Mote, 19, and Dominic Claude, 23, both of Colton and Brandon Moe, 20, of Riverside. Each was booked into jail on various felony charges and remained in custody as of Wednesday afternoon, booking records showed.

No injuries or accidents were reported.
