RivCo 14-Year-Old Killed In Collision
Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a teenage dirt bike rider.
RIVERSIDE, CA — A 14-year-old boy was killed in a collision with an SUV while riding a dirt bike near Riverside on Thursday morning, authorities said.
Gavin Carillo was identified as the victim in the Woodcrest fatal crash by the Riverside County Coroner's Office on Friday.
According to The Press-Enterprise, Carillo was riding a purple dirt bike when he collided with a Toyota 4Runner on Krameria Avenue about 20 feet from Gardner Avenue on Thursday morning.

The coroner's office says he was pronounced dead at 6:16 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol, which is investigating the crash, did not immediately respond to Patch to a request for comment.
