RivCo College Fires President In Unanimous Vote: Report
It is the second time the college board has terminated a president in five years.
RIVERSIDE, CA — A Riverside County college board fired its president on Tuesday, The Press-Enterprise reported.
Claire Oliveros was removed as Riverside City College in a closed session vote by the Riverside Community College District board.
The board has not given a reason for its decision. It is the second time the board has removed a president in recent years. Oliveros' predecessor, Gregory Anderson, was fired by the board in June 2022 after working there for four years.

Oliveros became the school's 13th president president in June 2023 and had an annual salary of $275,919, the newspaper reported.
