RivCo Man In Suspected Drug Operation Arrested: 49 Pounds Of Meth
Police recovered an assault rifle and two semiautomatic handguns during the arrest of a 55-year-old MoVal man with felony conviction.
MORENO VALLEY, CA — A 55-year-old man who has a felony conviction was arrested after officials accused him of having firearms and 49 pounds of packaged methamphetamine possibly for sale, authorities said.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced that a warrant was issued for a house in the 2300 block of Hemlock Avenue on Wednesday at 8 a.m. after the Moreno Valley Sheriff's Station Special Enforcement Team investigated an illegal operation.
Investigators seized 49 pounds of packaged meth that have a street value estimated at $58,000. During the search, officers also uncovered an assault rifle and two semiautomatic handguns.

Alfredo Pimienta of Moreno Valley was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of possession of narcotics, possession for sales, being a felon in possession of a firearm and other related offenses, the sheriff's department said.

Anyone with information regarding an illegal drug operation in Moreno Valley was urged to call Sgt. Radford at 951-486-6700.
"Sheriff’s officials emphasize the importance of community vigilance in combatting drug-related crimes and encourage residents to report any suspicious activities," officials said in a statement.
