Riverside County Accepting Applications For Civil Grand Jury
Prospective jurors have until April 2 to send in their applications to the Riverside Superior Court.
RIVERSIDE, CA — The Riverside Superior Court is searching for residents interested in serving on its civil grand jury for a one-year term.
Grand jurors are responsible for investigating county government operations and looking into matters that concern the public, according to a county statement. Applications for the grand jury must be sent in by April 2.
The term begins on July 1, 2021 and runs through June 30, 2022. To qualify for the grand jury, applicants must be citizens of the United States, be 18 years of age or older and have lived in Riverside County for at least one year prior to the start of the term.

Applicants cannot be currently serving as a juror in any court within the state, be an elected public official or have been convicted of a felony.
Grand jurors will be paid a per diem fee and provided with a mileage reimbursement.
