Semi, Caltrans Truck Crash Jams I-10 Traffic Near Beaumont: SigAlert

BEAUMONT, CA — Crews were continuing to work Wednesday morning in Beaumont to clear a crash on Interstate 10 involving a semi and a Caltrans truck.

The noninjury wreck was reported at 3:44 a.m. on westbound I-10 at Brookside Avenue.

The morning rush-hour commute through the Pass Area has been strained, with multiple side streets jammed and a SigAlert issued for westbound I-10.

As of 9 a.m., the freeway was not fully cleared and both directions were backed up. There was no word on when all lanes would reopen.
