Step Into Beaumont’s Past: Free History Tour This Saturday

The event includes a 1.5-hour walking tour through historic downtown Beaumont and a pictoral presentation after.

BEAUMONT, CA Residents and history buffs are invited to step back in time this Saturday, May 10, for “A Day of Beaumont History.”

The free community event will be hosted by the San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society and the Beaumont Women’s Club.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m. with a 1.5-hour walking tour through historic downtown Beaumont, led by members of the historical society. For those who prefer not to walk, a driving option is also available. The tour begins at the Beaumont Woman’s Club Community Center, located at 306 E. 6th St.

Following the tour, a pictorial presentation on Beaumont’s early days will take place at noon inside the same community center. The talk will offer a visual journey through the city’s early days.
