Stolen Labubu Dolls Worth $30K Recovered From Inland Empire Home
It's not clear when they were taken, but the dolls were believed to be lifted from a warehouse earlier this year.

INLAND EMPIRE, CA — Over $30,000 in highly sought-after Labubu dolls were recovered by Chino Police Department investigators after a multi-day investigation, the agency announced.
This week, detectives investigated a burglary where suspects entered a warehouse and stole boxes containing highly sought-after Labubu collectible figurines, the department shared.

"These items, popular in pop culture and often sold for high prices online, were taken in multiple trips over several days," investigators said.

After receiving multiple tips, officers obtained a search warrant and served it at a residence in Upland.
"One suspect attempted to flee but ultimately surrendered without incident," they said.

"Detectives recovered fourteen boxes of stolen merchandise, along with evidence indicating the items were being prepared for resale and shipment across the country," they said.
The recovered property, valued at approximately $30,000, was returned to the rightful owners.
This is not the first time a batch of Labubu dolls has been lifted for resale. The AP reported that a La Puente store was recently burglarized, and $7,000 worth of Labubu dolls was stolen from the location. The Los Angeles Police helped recover some, but not all, of the One Stop Shop's stolen merchandise.
The owners of One Stop Shop said on Instagram that the Labubu dolls found in Upland were not theirs.
It was not immediately known if the two incidents were related.
