Swiftwater Rescue Team Frees Driver In IE Floodwaters
The driver was found about 300 yards from the main road as his car moved with the water.

INLAND EMPIRE, CA -- A driver was rescued Tuesday after he attempted to drive his car through a massive flood in the Inland Empire. San Bernardino County Fire said the rescue happened around 8:30 a.m. on Lytle Creek Road near West End Gun Club.
The driver was found about 300 yards away from the main road after his car began to move with the water, officials said on Twitter. He was rescued by crews then evaluated for hypothermia.
California is enduring a strong rainstorm this week, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a flood watch.
