Teen Boy Found Safe After Disappearing In Banning
The child went missing Sunday, Dec. 1, according to the Banning Police Department.

BANNING, CA — The Banning Police Department announced late Monday that a missing teen boy was found safe.
Michael Malone, 15, was last seen at around 5 p.m. Dec. 1. in Banning, police announced shortly before noon Monday.
The teen was wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark baggy jeans. He is described as Native American, with brown hair and eyes, standing about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighing approximately 150 pounds.

The California Highway Patrol initiated a Feather Alert for the boy. Feather Alerts are issued for missing Native Americans.
According to the CHP, Michael is a member of the Torres-Martinez Desert Cahuilla tribe.

The CHP reported the child went missing at 1 p.m. Dec. 1 and was believed to be on foot.
