RIALTO, CA — Two girls, ages 3 and 4, are dead after an alleged DUI driver ran a red light Sunday night in Rialto and careened into the family's sedan.

The three-vehicle crash was reported just after 11 p.m. at Walnut and Riverside drives, Sgt. Daniel Smith of the Rialto Police Department told news outlets.

The girls were in a white Honda Accord with their parents. As the family vehicle turned left onto Walnut Drive, a Blue Dodge Ram pickup truck headed south on Riverside Drive ran a red light and broadsided the Accord. The impact sent the sedan into a black tow truck, Smith told reporters.
