VALLE VISTA, CA — Two people were seriously hurt Sunday when a vehicle veered off Highway 74 and struck a tree in Valle Vista.

The vehicle departed the roadway for unknown reasons, tore through a fence and collided head-on with a tree, the CHP reported.
