Driver Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI After Plunging Into Ditch Near Cajon Pass: CHP
A driver reportedly jumped from the vehicle before it went off the roadway Wednesday morning in the IE, according to preliminary CHP logs.

DEVORE, CA — A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch near the Cajon Pass on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 10:35 a.m., when a black two-door or four-door vehicle was seen going off the right-side embankment off I-15 southbound, south of Kenwood Avenue, CHP Officer Estevan Alvarez told Patch.
As the gray vehicle traveled across the roadway, it went through fencing and came to rest in a ditch on Cajon Boulevard.

A man reportedly jumped from the vehicle and rolled across the roadway before the car went into the ditch, according to early reports from the CHP.
Alvarez said the man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, is suspected to have been driving under the influence of alcohol and may have sustained minor injures.
