Video: Latest Work On Badlands Truck Lanes Project

BEAUMONT, CA — Curious as to what construction crews have been up to in the State Route 60 Truck Lanes Project in the Badlands? The Riverside County Transportation Commission is releasing weekly progress videos to show some of the action.

In the above video, you can see a bird's eye view of the work done during the week of Oct. 14.
The project is expected to be complete in 2021.

Also-- a heads up to motorists. Transportation officials say both westbound lanes and one eastbound lane will be closed tonight, Oct. 18, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. You're encouraged to use Interstate 10 as an alternate route.
