RIVERSIDE, CA — A wildfire ignited in the Santa Ana River bottom Sunday, sending plumes of smoke into the air southwest of downtown Riverside.
The fire was reported around 2:45 p.m. near the Ryan Bonaminio Park.
Both Riverside county and city firefighters were working to put the blaze out.
