• Menifee Man Killed In Beaumont Crash (patch.com) — A Menifee motorcyclist was killed in a collision Friday evening at the intersection of southbound State Route 79 and California Avenue in Beaumont, temporarily shutting down southbound lanes. CHP says a northbound SUV turning left struck the motorcycle; the rider died at the scene and the 75-year-old San Jacinto driver suffered major injuries. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected, and the crash remains under investigation.
