How (Water Efficient) Does Your Garden Grow?

Learn some basic water-saving gardening techniques at a water-efficient landscape workshop this Saturday sponsored by the Mid-Peninsula Water District in Belmont.

Learn the fundamentals of water-wise gardening at a free water-efficient landscape workshop sponsored by BAWSCA (Bay Area Water Supply & Conservation Agency) and the Mid-Peninsula Water District.

The workshop will be held Saturday, April 27th from 9 a.m.-noon at the Mid-Peninsula Water District, 3 Dairy Lane in Belmont.

This hands-on workshop will demonstrate basic water-saving gardening techniques. Learn about plant selection and placement, proper irrigation, soil preparation, and design. Participants should bring gardening gloves and a pot, no bigger than a 12”x12” or 14”x12” to work with during the workshop.
