Attempted Murder Suspect Wanted by Long Beach Police
Mario Aguilar Jr., 31, of La Puente, allegedly stabbed the mother of his children on Oct. 18, police said.

Long Beach police on Thursday sought public help to find a man accused of the attempted murder of the mother of his children.
Mario Aguilar Jr., 31, of La Puente, allegedly stabbed the woman on Oct. 18 near Santa Fe Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.
The Long Beach Police Department circulated a photo of Aguilar, described as Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. He has brown eyes, and is balding.

The wounded woman, whose name was withheld, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
A warrant has been issued for Aguilar’s arrest. Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call detectives at (562) 570-7277, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
