Free Shark Nights at Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach

Visitors get to touch and see sharks during this evening event. Refreshments are available for purchase.

The public can cozy up with sharks (well, sort of) during the Aquarium of the Pacific’s free Shark Lagoon Nights. The Long Beach aquarium is giving guests the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks like sandtigers as well as rays in the Aquarium’s Shark Lagoon.

The next free Shark Lagoon Night is Friday, Nov. 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. Shark Lagoon Nights are weather-dependent and can be canceled due to inclement weather, according to the aquarium website. During the event, Shark Lagoon is the only place open and available to aquarium visitors.

Coffee, hot cocoa, beer, wine, desserts, and snacks are available for purchase.
