UPDATED: Man Shot to Death in Long Beach ID'd
The victim, 29, was gunned down near Anaheim and Atlantic Avenue.

An Antelope Valley man was identified as the Saturday night victim in the Long Beach shooting on Atlantic Avenue, authorities said. Reynard Lionell Fulton, 29, of Palmdale died of a bullet to the head, a Long Beach police spokeswoman said. Fulton died at a local hospital, said Long Beach police information officer Lisa Massacani. A man was shot about 7:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Atlantic Avenue, near Anaheim Street, the Long Beach Police Department said. The victim, whose name was not yet released, was shot in the head, said Long Beach police department spokeswoman Lisa Massaconi said.
The 29-year-old man was declared dead at a nearby hospital. Details of what happened were not available from the polcicesynopsis of what happened was unavailable early today. The man may have been on bicycle when he was shot, according to what City News Service reported only as a published report.

The violence was initially reported as a shooting while police investigated but the department later stated that it was under investigation as a homocide.
