Missed Moments: LEGOLAND(r) Castle Hotel
The LEGOLAND Castle hotel will open April 27, 2018. I missed the hard hat tour... 8(
I spend a lot of time taking photos and videos for myself, for my friends on Facebook, to share with my family via some private channels or email. Many end up on my Squigglemom YouTube channel. It's my little filing system. I can look back and see what I was doing at a certain point in time, and if I want to see how I did something, or re-find a favorite recipe, my videos are there.
Still, there are so many missed opportunities, I often have my regrets when I forget to take my camera, or if I do, I run out of storage on my disk or charge on my battery. Sometimes it takes me too long to turn the camera on. That happened with the wild parrots of Long Beach a few days ago. I heard the flock coming, pried off the lens cap, turned on the camera and then... nothing. They were already gone, squawking as they flew away. I could see them in the distance, but what would be the point of videoing them flying away?

I missed the hard hat tour on Thursday, January 25th, 2018.
What can I say? It was a busy day. I couldn't justify taking the time to drive all the way to Carlsbad, CA for the hard hat tour. Missed photos and videos that I'll never get the chance to take again. The next time I see the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel it will probably be either through a tiny viewing slot in the minifigure encrusted fence, or after it opens on April 27th.

So I'll look at some videos of the 'other' LEGOLAND hotel. They are pretty good videos, and the 'other' LEGOLAND hotel has some great themed rooms. True, they aren't designed for a Princess, a Knight, a Dragon or a Wizard. I'll share those with you anyway below, and above, some photos the LEGOLAND folks shared with me.
