Watch Animal Blessing of Pups, Horses, a Llama....

Watch as hundreds arrive Saturday to a sunset blessing offered by spiritual leaders of several denominations at a ceremony organized by Belmont Shore resident and event planner (and pageant coach) Justin Rudd. It was a solemn and friendly experience attended by at least a few hundred people. The majority of the animals were dogs of all breeds. But a few sheep, three or four horses--or were they mules?--and one brown Llama also attended on leash Saturday evening as four ministers lead blessings on St. Francis day.
