Wilson High Evacuation: Student's-Eye View
A sophomore snapped these photos during the evacuation of her fellow 4,300 students to the Wilson High football field following a phoned in bomb threat.
"My names Allisen Steward and I go to Wilson High School. These are some pictures I took ... out on the football field. The pictures are of the 4,300 students piled on the field. It was a hot and nerve racking day."
Allisen e-mailed these to Patch of the Sept. 19 telephoned bomb threat claiming an explosive was somewhere in the school cafeteria. The threat proved false but prompted the immediate evacuation of all 4,300 students, who were gathered out on the football field while police and LBUSD police searched the whole campus and found no such device.
