2 Suspected Thieves Arrested Near Beverly Hills High; Third Suspect Got Away
The three were suspected of grand theft at a high-end clothing Beverly Hills clothing store.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A man and a woman were arrested after a brief car chase in Beverly Hills on Thursday night. The pair were suspected of grand theft at a clothing store, police said.
Three people were suspected of stealing multiple clothing items from Robin's Jean, 313 N. Beverly Drive, but one got away, Beverly Hills police Lt. Renato Moreno said.
Police received the report of the theft at around 6 p.m. and soon after a motor officer spotted the vehicle matching the description of the car suspected in theft and tried to make a traffic stop.

The suspects in the car wouldn't yield and a short pursuit started, Moreno said. It ended seconds later in front of Beverly Hills High school and three suspects ran from the vehicle, he said.
One suspect was arrested in the 200 block of Spalding Drive, another was arrested in the 200 block of S. Lasky drive, Moreno said. The third suspect, described as a black man in his 20s eluded police.
