3 Beverly Hills Ambulatory Surgery Centers Rank Among Best In CA

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Dozens of California's ambulatory surgical centers recently ranked among the best facilities in the nation, according to a new report.

In Beverly Hills, three facilities made the list, including the Cedars Sinai 90210 Surgery Medical Center in second place, the Surgery Partners La Peer Surgery Center in 17th place and the Cedars Sinai Precision Ambulatory Surgical Center in 66th place, according to America’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2022, a new list from Newsweekcompiled in partnership with Statista.

Statewide, 83 facilities were ranked among 470 Medicare-certified centers across the nation to help Americans "make knowledgeable choices when they seek care for themselves or loved ones," according to the report.

The facilities typically specialize in orthopedic surgery, cardiac surgery, eye surgery, spinal surgery and more. Ambulatory centers also provide a space for quick turnaround procedures in which a patient is able to go home shortly after surgery or, at most, within 24 hours.

Working with Statista, Newsweek analyzed performance data and surveyed experts, nurses, therapists, physicians, administrators and surgeons to recommend the best surgery centers in the state.
Across the nation, 4,600 centers were analyzed, according to Newsweek.

California had the largest number of surgical centers that were highly ranked; Mississippi had the fewest, with just four making the list.

Participants were also asked to rank facilities based on their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

4. Hoag Endoscopy Center, Newport Beach and Irvine.
5. Sutter Health, Surgery Center, Mountain View.
6. Newport Beach Surgery Center.
7. Surgical Care Affiliates, UCSD Center for Surgery of Encinitas.
8. Surgical Care Affiliates, La Veta Surgical Center.
9. Surgery Partners, Aspen Surgery Center.
10. Desert Care Network, El Mirador Surgery Center.
