Anyone Got a Spare $195M? Latest Beverly Hills Home with 9-Digit Pricetag

A Mediterranean mansion on 25 acres in Beverly Hills, complete with a vineyard and a 5,000-square-foot master suite, was being offered today for the record price of $195 million.

If Palazzo di Amore sells for that price, it would surpass the $120 million sale price for Copper Beech Farm in Greenwich, Conn., which set a record when it was sold earlier this year, according to Rick Goodwin of Coldwell Banker Previews International.

The real estate company also recently listed a Versailles-inspired home in Hillboro Beach, Fla, for $139 million.

Palazzo di Amore, situated on a promontory overlooking the city, is owned by real estate entrepreneur Jeff Greene, who invested tens of millions to complete and expand the main home developed by Mohamed Hadid.

The 12-bedroom main house covers more than 35,000 square feet, while the entire property boasts about 53,000-square-feet of living space, including a 15,000-square-foot ballroom with a revolving turntable-style dance floor, a 50- seat screening room, a bowling alley and a game room. Up to 250 guests could be seated for dinner, and the garage can hold 27 cars, according to Coldwell Banker.

There are three gates along a quarter-mile-long tree-lined drive. The vineyard produces a 400-500 cases of wine per year.
